ANTA Life Member Judy Jacka Honoured By Western Sydney University
Honorary Fellow award from Western Sydney University given to Judy Jacka
An Award of Honorary Fellow of the university was given to ANTA Life Member Judy Jacka at the graduation ceremony of Western Sydney University on 9th April 2016. The Vice-Chancellor, professor Barney Glover explained the meaning of her award as being “in recognition of her distinguished service to the fields of natural therapies and complementary medicines.” She was then invited to give the Occasional Address for this ceremony. After the address, the Pro-Chancellor, Genevieve Gregor, mentioned in her summary the challenges of being a pioneer and stated that the university would continue to support natural therapies.
