Complementary Medicine Practitioner Associations Council

CMPAC

Complementary Medicine Practitioner Associations CouncilIn 2007 the Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing provided ANTA with funding to establish the Complementary Medicine Practitioner Associations Council (CMPAC).

Until recently only practitioners accredited in Naturopathy, Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture were able to be registered with CMPAC. Due to recent upgrading in the structure of CMPAC and the CMPAC Constitution, all financial ANTA members irrespective of the modalities they are accredited in are now included on the CMPAC Online Register of Practitioners and the newly launched CMPAC website www.cmpac.com.au.CMPAC

As part of the funding agreements with the Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing, CMPAC maintains a register of practitioners and issues certificates of CMPAC registration to practitioners that are members of recognised professional associations.

ANTA Members are entitled at no additional cost to be registered with CMPAC and to receive a CMPAC certificate of registration. Annual CMPAC practitioner registration will automatically occur upon renewal of ANTA Membership.
