Courses

To be eligible for accreditation and membership with the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA), graduates are required to complete a course recognised by ANTA.

Please note: ANTA does not recognise undergraduate courses delivered substantially by Distance/Online or External modes.

Health Funds do not recognise for provider registration purposes any undergraduate qualifications attained substantially by Distance/Online or External Modes.

Below are the disciplines/modalities accredited and represented by ANTA. Please click on the discipline/modality to view courses ANTA recognises in that field.

Postgraduate Courses:

ANTA requires graduates applying for membership or an upgrade in membership status to have completed a primary (undergraduate) qualification relating to the postgraduate qualification undertaken.

Flexible delivery or self-directed learning in a postgraduate course(s) are acceptable modes of delivery, provided the student has previously completed an appropriate undergraduate course of study delivered on campus relative to the postgraduate course/qualification being undertaken.

For Course Providers/Educators

To have your course(s) assessed by ANTA and published on the official ANTA Recognised Course List, please view the Course Assessment Guidelines. Once you are satisfied your course(s) meets the ANTA criteria for recognition, please submit your course(s) for assessment.

ANTA is committed to Quality Assurance & Public Safety and believes course assessment as undertaken by ANTA is a service that provides significant benefits to students, graduates, educators, the profession and the public.

Course assessment must be open and transparent and must not be compromised, contingent upon or negotiated by charging course providers a fee for assessing or recognising courses.

ANTA assesses courses based on the information submitted for assessment and does not charge a fee for assessing courses. Assessment of course(s) by ANTA is free of charge.
