NSW Workers Compensation Massage Fees & Reforms

The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) would like to advise you of the gazettal of the Workers Compensation (Massage Therapy Fees)Order 2016 and the State Insurance Regulatory Authority Workers Compensation Regulation Guideline for approval of treating allied health practitioners (see attached).

In addition, SIRA has also attached:

  • A fact sheet to assist with information of the changes regarding the establishment of SIRA Workers Compensation Regulation (formally known as WorkCover NSW).

  • The Allied Health Recovery Request and ‘Information for Allied health practitioners completing the AHRR’, which has been updated with minor amendments to improve usability.

The SIRA Workers Compensation Regulation website will be updated to include the Workers Compensation (Massage Therapy Fees) Order 2016 and theState Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) Workers Compensation Regulation Guideline for approval of treating allied health practitioners. The information contained in this email will also be available on the website.
