Therapists and Students from all Professional Associations and Colleges around Victoria are united and working together to offer support and care for the firefighters, volunteers and survivors of the Victorian bush fires.

Therapeutic Emergency Response Groups are needed and locations and contacts for many of the sites affected are being organised. All natural therapists are invited to donate their time and skills to support those involved, and are required to organize their own transport* and take all equipment they need.

Endeavour College of Natural Health is acting as the coordinator, liaising closely with the CFA and volunteers at the various locations providing the latest information for therapists interested to help. This will be updated regularly.

National Fund Raising Event

In addition, Endeavour College, in conjunction with ANTA, ATMS, RAA, AAMT and IFA has organised a National fundraising event to raise money for the bush fire appeal. This will take place simultaneously in each state on Friday 27th February 8:00am – 7:30pm in the following locations

BRISBANE - Queen Street Mall – venue to be confirmed
MELBOURNE - Federation Square – venue to be confirmed
ADELAIDE - Rundle Mall – venue to be confirmed
PERTH - Murray St Mall – venue to be confirmed
SYDNEY - Venue to be confirmed

Tactile therapists of all modalities and professional associations are invited to participate in this event and provide mini 10 minute massage / reflexology / shiatsu etc sessions on the public, who will be asked for a minimum donation of $10.

Practitioners wishing to participate are required to register for this event, to commit to a 3 hour period and provide their own equipment.

ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE RED CROSS BUSH FIRE APPEAL

As this is a national initiative, please identify which state you are volunteering for, the therapy you are providing, your contact number and the times you are available for (8am-11am, 11am-2pm, 2pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm).
