ANTA announces increase in Student National Bursary Awards from $7,000 to $10,000

Every year ANTA provides students of natural therapies with the opportunity to apply for an ANTA Bursary Award.

Due to the success of the bursary program and ANTA’s ongoing commitment to natural therapies, natural therapy students and education providers, ANTA is delighted to announce an increase in funding from $7,000 to $10,000 for the ANTA Bursary Awards program in 2008/2009. The increase will provide natural therapy students with the opportunity to apply for the 10 ANTA National Bursary Awards of $1,000 being offered by ANTA in 2008.

Since introducing Bursary Awards in 2006, ANTA has provided 14 students with $1,000 each to assist them with their studies and career in natural therapies. By 2008 a total of $24,000 in bursaries will have been awarded to natural therapy students by ANTA.

Students can apply for an ANTA National Bursary Award (10 awards of $1,000 are available in 2008) by submitting on line at ANTA Bursary Awards an assignment completed in relation to their studies. The closing date for lodging a submission for an ANTA Bursary Award is the 31st October each year and the 10 recipients of $1,000 each are announced as soon as possible in the new year after judging of submissions has been completed.

ANTA Bursary Awards are open to students undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate natural therapy courses recognised by ANTA regardless of the year of study (i.e. 1st year students through to final year students are eligible to apply).

Don’t delay, go to ANTA Bursary Awards and lodge your application for an ANTA Bursary Award of $1,000 now - applications close 31st October 2008.
